At the Day 8 box office collections, the Diplomat, Sadia Khateeb, and John Abraham might be a welcome surprise. Although it started out slowly at the box office, it has been consistent in spite of all the odds. As of right now, the action thriller has outperformed Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency Lifetime collections.
Despite the lack of buzz, Shivam Nair’s film is steadily increasing its audience due to its positive reviews. It increased its box office receipts by 1.27 crores on day eight. Compared to the 1.44 crores made the day before, the political action thriller saw a roughly 12% decline in revenue.

Day 8 Box Office Collection for The Diplomat
The action thriller starring John Abraham only made ₹80 lakhs on Friday, Day 8. Compared to The Diplomat’s earnings in prior days, the figure is very lower.
On the first day, the John Abraham film made₹4 crore, and over the following few days, it increased its total earnings to₹19.15 crore for the first week.
The reduced earnings also reflected in the footfalls. The diplomat had an overall 9.11 percent Hindi occupancy on Friday, March 21.
Vedaa is taken over by the diplomat.
Even though The Diplomat’s box office receipts have decreased, the film still outperformed John Abraham’s Vedaa.
Following its seven-day run in theaters, the Diplomat film brought in a total of ₹19.15 crore India net, according to data compiled by industry tracker Sacnilk. Vedaa, on the other hand, earned ₹22.54 crore throughout its exhibition run.

The release of Diplomat OTT
In a recent interview, John Abraham said that multiple over-the-top (OTT) platforms rejected the film The Diplomat.
“The plant is where the loss of faith occurs. When a plant views a movie, it does a round of OTTs because it could want to submit it to an OTT channel to reduce the threat. The Diplomat was rejected by certain OTT networks since they did not suppose it was veritably good. It was not good, in their opinion. “They threw out the film after rejecting it,” John Abraham stated.
The Diplomat film
Sadia Khateeb’s portrayal of Indian national Uzma Ahmad, the subject of Lakshman Utekar’s film The Diplomat, is based on her true biography. Ahmad supposedly falls for a honeytrap and marries a Pakistani man, who is subsequently saved by an Indian ambassador (JP Singh).
India’s current ambassador to Israel, JP Singh, is portrayed by John Abraham. The film is a compelling and poignant story that illuminates the intricacies of interpersonal relationships in the face of global unrest.
